Flowers Gardens Fall is a great time to replant your flower garden.  As the weather turns cooler (pumpkin time)…your spring/summer annuals are about “done.”  It’s time to replace them with winter pansies  & decorative cabbage (hopefully you didn‘t do this too early or they will “stretch“ and won‘t winter over).  It’s also time to put in fall mums (ours are grown locally so they will come back up next year!). It’s also a very good time to lime your lawn and put down some new grass seed. Vegetable Gardens There are lots of garden vegetables that can also be planted now (list at the left)  Come on in and pick up some.  Fall vegetables taste better (and are cheaper) than store bought!  Many of your “greens” will go all winter and taste sweeter after a frost. Even if you are not planting a “winter” garden, now is the time to till in some cow manure and fertilizer make your planting soil better for next year. Thanksgiving & Halloween We make our own fall wreaths and centerpieces.  And have a large selection of  Pumpkins, Gourds, Cornstalks,  Straw, Scarecrows.
